On Thursday we had lots of snow at St Francis! Luckily most of the staff and children made it into school safely and the day continued as normal!
Year 4 were lucky enoughto have a half an hour play into the fresh snow on the Mugga pitch! Some children even built a snowman!

On Tuesday, a swimming instructor from Eccleshill Swimming Pool came into Year 4 to tell us all about how to stay safe in the water. This was very important because if we do not know the do’s and don’ts then we could lose our lives! We also made posters which Miss Speake is entering into a competition for £60 of free swimming lessons!

One night a little girl called Sienna was fast asleep in bed. She was dreaming of a Wonderland. She walked through this little gate and saw the Queen of Hearts. The Queen of Hearts said, “Sweetheart you are not allowed in my castle so can you leave”. Sienna said, “Sorry but I will go into the castle”. She could feel things around her so she said “what was that I could feel”. Under her foot was something hard which was sparkling. It was smooth and cold in her hand. It was a diamond. She woke up screaming with excitement Wow!

One day there was a little girl called Sophie. She was getting ready for school. She then opend to go to school. when she opened the door she relized she had entered candy land. so she explored the land excitedly. Until she found a house made out of candy. I ate some it was lovely. It tasted of sweet strawbery. Suddenly some more candy came up on the roof of the house. I tried the candy again this time it tasted like sour orange. I entered the candy house I shouted “who’s in there”? There was a silent reply saying “I am Milly Molly Mandy. She looked so different. she had strawberry lasses as her hair. she also had candy floss as her face. Milly Molly Mandy had harribos on her shoes with banana lasses as her shoes lasses. She also had all different coloured candy floss as her clothes. She was so colourful. Milly Molly Mandy was a nice person. I told her I needed to find the way home so she said she would help me. As we started to walk we noticed pebbles these were pebbles I had dropped on my way so it helped me home. Milly Molly Mandy then came to school with me.

THE night was dull Maddison was asleep when CRASH!!! they was a hunted dress it was moving like a slow bird . Maddison slowly got up and as soon as she got up her eye`s were as red as blood. Her mum was so scared she ran out of the room. Maddison went down stair`s and followed her terrified mum. the blue mysterious dress was controlling her so she colden`t get out of it. Suddenly Maddison came out of the curse . she grabbed a knife and ripped the dress and it died Maddison went back to bed she was all alone. the next day the dress was once more alive…

It was Saturday morning when I woke up to a squeaking coming from down stairs.
What could it be i thought to myself as i slowly climbed out of my bed.
Could it be my pet hamster playing i crept down the stairs.
ARGHHHHH! there in front of me was the ugliest looking alien he had three eyes.
Then he touched me on the head “What was that i could feel?” i was floating in the air like a bubble.
Then suddenly i dropped closing my eyes when i opened them i was in bed it was all a dream.

One day there was a lady called Jasmin. She worked in a zoo. It was jasmins daughters birthday. Jasmins daughter was called olivia . She loved animals. so she asked here mum if she couled have here paty in a zoo. so here mum said ” yes”.

It was now olivias birthday party there was a magician,pass the pasel, circus, musical statchuse and other games. Then it was time to see the animals. So Jasmin said do not touch the animals because there dangeres. Just then one of the children opened a lion cage,Without jasmin knowing. But then we could here Jasmin shouting “what was that I could feel”? oh no a lion is out of its cage…

Me and my friend was walking in the park one sunny day when we suddenly saw a monster. It had purple spots and it had brown eyes. Just then it tried to eat us we was very frightened. So we ran away. We ran fast. We ended up going in a secret door where it was snowing really bad. We lost the monster because we went through the secret door and ended up in a different land. We saw a poster it said we are in ice land.so me and my friend started to scream to death because we did not know how far from home we were or the the way home. I saw the ice queen when we were walking about she was in a beautiful ice castle. She was wearing the most beautiful dress I have ever seen. It was made out of ice and very sparkly blue.my friend asked her name, she shouted I am iceiger. she looked angry. She yelled I want to freeze you. She was a naughty queen I knew this because I saw here freezing the land. She also froze me. So my friend ran and ran until she found someone in the meadow. His name was Robert. My friend showed Robert the way to the ice castle. He used his magic to let me free, he un froze me. I was so cold and scared. I said thank you to Robert. I Asked Robert how we could get home? He showed us the way home.
