Hi Year 4, here is some homework for this week! Don’t worry, I will tell everyone on Monday as I know not everyone can access the blog at home!

As we have been practicing  descriptions of characters from fantasy world I would like you to describe a character from Alice in Wonderland, a fantastic story where Alice falls down a rabbit hole into a fantasy land!

You can choose from either the Mad Hatter or the Queen of Hearts. If you want to do both that is ok but I would rather you focus on one. Use the pictures as a prompt. Remember to think about:

– what they look like (clothes, body, face)

– what kind of personality might they have

– how they might be feeling or what they could be thinking

Remember lots of detail (adjectives, verbs, adverbs, adverbs, similes, etc) and punctuation in the right places!

  1. The royal village his a home to miniature fairy tale people royal clothing and a curly juggernauts hair

  2. The hat maker !!!

I think that by the picture the Hat maker looks like he has orange as a peach hair and a pale white face ( I only think that the pale white face is make up because no one has a pale face like that ) I also think that the hat maker is very good at making hats because I have seen the movie and because he is wearing one of the hats he has made.

    Olivia Oxley!!!

  3. THE MADHATTER

The madhatter is a man that is a bit crazy from the story from Alice and the wonderland. He wears a top hat which has a pink ribbon tied around it which he wears on his head . He has outrageous red hair and his face looks has white as a ghost . His clothing is very oldfashiond is scarf as several colours in the pattern . The madhatter dresses and acts like a clown in a circus when he has his outraugous tea parties he ivites his friends white rabbit and pretty Alice also the furry tiny mouse . They sing unhappy bithday to you and eat delicious food.
