Dear diary

Today I have just discovered a rusty red ship. So I clamed on it I saw a shadowy figer so I went to touch it but my hand went strait threw it!!!! I went up stars and I saw a chest, it had a map next to it, it said you need to find the key to open the chest.  So I lookt in all of the rooms but for some resen it was not there so I looked in the other one and it said look under the chest and the key will be there. IM RICH!

  1. Well done, Taylor, this is an exciting story. I particularly liked how you described it as a ‘rust red’ ship. Good use of alliteration.

However, there are lots of spelling mistakes. Can anyone find some mistakes and correct them?

  2. Hi Taylor

What an adventure! You were obviously inspired by the picture this week and it has clearly sparked your imagination. You have really clearly organised ideas and if you could fix your spelling this would be super. I always encourage my class to ask a friend to check for spelling mistakes before their work is published on the blog, they don’t always find every mistake but it will certainly help.
